To Students and Parents Considering joining Rock River Concord:

We are very excited to announce our fourth season as a MACBDA Band (Mid American Competitive Band Directors Association)

The Rock River Concord
We build character through our commitment to music.
Passion ~ Selflessness  ~ Trust ~ Challenge ~ Unity

Who:
Our intent is inclusivity.
The only requirements are:
~ Must be currently in High School or will be next school year (2019-20).
~ Must be involved in your music program.
~ Must be driven.
If you are:
~ Looking for a challenge.
~ Would love to be immersed in the Marching Band experience.
~ Looking to strengthen their leadership skills.

We would love for you to join us!

We have a spots available in every section, and if we don’t, we can make one!
~ Winds: Flute, Clarinet, Saxophones, Trumpet, Horn, Trombone, Euphonium, Tuba.
~ Percussion: Snare Drum, Tenors, Bass Drums, Mallet Percussion, Aux Percussion.
~ Rhythm Section: Electric Bass, Electric Guitar, Piano.
~ Color Guard: Flag Line, Weapon Line, Dancers.
Where:
The Rock River Concord is an extension of the Fort Atkinson High School Bands.
All rehearsals and camps will take place in Fort. We have several Fort Atkinson families who are prepared to host traveling students if needed.

All of the shows take place in Wisconsin with exception of the National Cherry Festival Shows in Traverse City Michigan.

How Much:
Our goal when starting this organization was to offer a complete immersive Musical and Athletic concentrated experience for less than the average 1 week Summer Music Camp. To that end students only pay for the coach busses needed for the season's travels, the season specific apparel needed, and the food prepared and provided. This total cost comes to $400.

Note: If the only road block for your participating is the cost. Come talk to one of us.
There are always ways to help a student in need.

Thanks for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,
Justin Steger
